Thegoowiyeng is a rocky outcrop in Kununurra. It is the dreaming place of the night pigeon that calls at night. Beside it is Thethebeleng - they call it Sleeping Buddha and in the background is Ngamoowalem - the Ivanhoe Ranges. In the front is Lily Creek lagoon. Around it are the humpies where I grew up and the main roads houses where the whitefellas lived when they built Kununurra.
