Agnes was born on old Ivanhoe Station , then moved to new Ivanhoe Staion with her mother. She used to collect bush tucker and bush medicine with her mother in the bush. "We used to swim here at Black Rock by walking from Ivanhoe Station. In the 1950's and 60's this area was always flooded in the wet season, then it was time to move to dry land. We all had good fun and really enjoyed our bush life."
