The Kira Kiro gather in large family groups to celebrate with dancing and singing. These gatherings are also to teach the younger members of the family about hunting, bush tucker food, what are the best seasons to collect various foods. For example, the yam and bush potato are collected at the end of the wet season as the weather begins to get hot and dry

This product was made in collaboration with Aboriginal Art Centre Hub Western Australia (AACHWA) as part of the Make It Real project. Make It Real is a dedicated project created in response to the 'Fake Art Harms Culture' campaign, with the aim to develop certified, culturally authentic Indigenous products and souvenirs.
