Design: Nyinggiwoogeng (bush peanut)

The bush peanut is harvested in the dry time. The edible seeds inside the pods taste like hazelnut. The seeds are high in protein, zinc and magnesium. They can be eaten raw or roasted. Care has to be taken when collecting as the outside of the seedpods have fine hairs that can make you very itchy!
