Ceramic serving bowl

Artist: Gloria Mengil

Australian made large ceramic bowl featuring artwork by Aboriginal artist, Gloria Mengil from Waringarri Aboriginal Arts. This unique Aboriginal design features “busk tucker”, specifically the bush plum and bush peanut, a common cuisine in Aboriginal Culture and something Gloria regularly gathered as a child.

A blend of terracotta and stoneware, the ceramic bowl makes a great serving bowl, perfect for salads or other shared meals. It’s microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.

Size: 6cm in diameter x 21 cm width.

“You need to know where to find them…. They are delicious when roasted on hot coals. Bush plums are everywhere during the wet season and are eaten raw. They are also good for making jam.” – Gloria Mengil
