David has painted a site on his Country where he would often go camping with family on the weekends, learning. The tracks between the rocky outcrops are porcupine. You can find waterholes on top of these rocks. David is currently living in Kununurra, away from his home of Kiwirikurra. Painting is a portal back to his country; so to stay connected and strong through remembering and painting these places in detail.
