Wangga represent a little man about a metre high, this little men is called warunguntha. He is the guider, protector and guardian of country, he makes sure we don’t play up or misbehave on country, if we do he will see us to warn us to enjoy country and be free. This dance is for both men and women and is danced with two feet for man. Left side - Lirrga is a dance where the man dance with two feet, the Lirrga represent a lot of animals. The most important animals that this Lirrga song sing about is the goorrandalng (brolga). Whenever you see a brolga on your travel stop and look he always has a partner with him, but you can tell which is female and which is male. The male has a red on the back of the neck and the female has yellow. The male always stand on his one leg, that is how we know his dancing.
